Liturgy for Children

To find out more about Children’s Liturgy, or to enrol your child in Sunday School, please contact Bridget Brinkley via the Parish Office

 Children's Liturgy

The Children’s Liturgy group is open to children who are in reception class and above at school. At the beginning of Mass children are called forward: they go to the Parish Centre, where trained volunteers help them explore the bible readings of the day, and return to church for the Offertory Procession. Parents are welcome to attend the initial sessions with their child.

Children’s Liturgy takes place during the Saturday 6.00 pm Mass, and the Sunday 9.00 am and 11.00 am Masses, in school term time SUSPENDED .

Children's Sunday School

Children from the age of six who are not attending a Catholic School are invited to join our Sunday School programme. Parents whose children have attended Sunday School regularly for at least one year, and who would like to discuss their readiness for preparing for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, should speak to Fr John Byrne.

Sunday School takes place on Sunday mornings between 10.00 am and 10.45 am, during term time, in St Lawrence’s School.
